Rapscallion is John Vingoe, a Graphic Designer based down in the Garden of England with a love for fresh clothing, big in your face designs, and quality typography.
From an early age I was a creative person, whether it was sketching at home on paper or doodling in a textbook at school. I always enjoyed art at school and thought it would be cool to have a job where I could be creative all the time. This led me to taking graphics at college and then finally into a job in the industry.
Fast forward to the present and fuelled by the frustration of the 9 to 5 grind and a sketchbook full of scribbles and doodles, Rapscallion and wearerapscallion.co.uk were born. A website made to showcase my work and to inspire other people, and an outlet for me to create the kind of stuff I would wear and hang on my walls and hopefully others will want too.
From the designs I create for my tees to the logos created for clients, I want to get this stuff out there. My creativity has enabled my work to be featured in various publications and websites. This is something i’m super proud of and hopefully something that will continue to grow.
If you’ve seen something I haven’t? or want to help spread the word? please get in touch: john@wearerapscallion.co.uk
